Gifts to Support Athletic Department Priorities contribute to...
The Polar Bear Athletic Fund (PBAF) helps ensure that Bowdoin's talented students and coaches have the resources they need to compete at the highest level. These vital funds ensure equity across all teams by supporting things like:
- Travel expenses, such as buses, hotels, and meals, for all varsity teams
- Professional development for coaches, athletic trainers, and strength and conditioning coaches
- Free live webcasts for more than 120 home contests, connecting alumni, families, and friends with the action on campus
- Student support services including athletic training and equipment room resources and sports psychology, nutrition, and mindful performance consultants to help prepare students for competition in the classroom and beyond
