Gifts to Bowdoin’s Greatest Need—the College’s unrestricted annual fund—are one of the most powerful ways to support today’s students. Flexible funding allows Bowdoin to respond to emerging priorities and direct resources where they are needed most, ensuring that every gift has an immediate impact across campus.

Each year, alumni, students, families, and friends contribute unrestricted gifts that comprise nearly six percent of Bowdoin’s operating budget. These funds reach every corner of every Polar Bear’s experience.
